Mold is a kind of precision tool with complex shape, which bears the expansion force of the blank and has high requirements on structural strength, rigidity, surface hardness, surface roughness and processing accuracy. The development level of mold production is one of the important symbols of machinery manufacturing level. So, what matters need to pay attention to medical moulds?
1. Rust prevention: prevent the injection molding machine mold from rusting due to water leakage, condensation, rain and fingerprints.
2. Anti-collision: prevent the mold from being damaged by the broken ejector pin not backed into place.
3. Remove spikes: prevent the mold burrs caused by rubbing cloth, punching material, hand rubbing nozzle pliers and knives.
4. Parts missing: to prevent the mold from being damaged during use due to the lack of tie rods, washers and other parts.
5. Pressure resistance: to prevent the product residue caused by locking the mold and crushing the mold.
6. Underpressure: to prevent the low pressure protection pressure from damaging the mold.
Although there is no need to have experienced technicians to clean the mold, but let some inexperienced or inexperienced personnel to be responsible for mold cleaning is a little underconsideration, because the mold cleaning process requires attention to many things, inexperienced personnel in the process of cleaning the mold will cause some damage to the mold, will increase the difficulty of mold maintenance, thus greatly increasing the mold maintenance budget.
When cleaning the mold, it is necessary to develop a mold cleaning plan. In the cleaning of different parts of the mold (including: press internal cleaning, edge cleaning, conventional cleaning, main parts cleaning), also need to use different cleaning methods, so as to better achieve the purpose of "cost-effective". After a period of operation, the plating wear, marks, and residue content in the exhaust and non-exhaust areas of the mold are inspected visually, and the technician can decide the cleaning procedure and frequency of the mold through the visual inspection.

The dynamic mold is installed on the dynamic template of the injection molding machine, and the fixed mold is installed on the fixed template of the injection molding machine. During injection molding, the movable mold and the fixed mold are closed to form the pouring system and cavity, and when the mold is opened, the movable mold and the fixed mold are separated to take out the plastic products.

Although the structure of the mold may vary depending on the variety and properties of the plastic, the shape and structure of the plastic products and the type of medical injection molding machine, the basic structure is the same. The mold mainly consists of pouring system, temperature control system, molding parts and structural parts. Among them, the pouring system and the molding parts are the parts that are in direct contact with the plastic and change with the plastic and the product.
