The emergence of the syringe was an epoch-making revolution in the field of medical devices. The process of extracting or injecting gas or liquid with a needle is called injection. The syringe consists of a syringe with a small hole at the front end and a matching piston mandrel. The liquid or gas is drawn in through the small hole at the front end of the syringe when the mandrel is pulled out and pushed out when the mandrel is pushed in.
Automatic syringe assembly machine can also be used for medical devices, vessels, and scientific instruments such as some chromatography to inject through a rubber septum. Injecting gas into a blood vessel can lead to air embolism. Removing air from a syringe to avoid embolism is done by turning the syringe upside down, tapping it gently, and then squeezing out a little fluid before injecting it into the blood stream.
